Castle Rock Trails Spring Trail Clean up NOTICE

We will be doing our annual spring trial clean up this year on Saturday, April 30th. The Castle Rock Trails Club would love to have you join us! If you decide to do this, please call to let us know so we have an idea of how many volunteers to expect. Bring any tools that you happen to have...chain saws, nippers, pole saws and atv's but check with us first before bringing an atv.
We start the day with a meet and greet at Ukarydee. We will be serving coffee, juice and doughnuts from 8:00-9:00 AM. During this time everyone has a chance to get to know one another and we decide on teams and tasks. We are on the trails from 9-12 and then back for a chili lunch.

We ask you to bring chili to dump into the nesco and a side dish to go with it....cheese, crackers, sour cream, bread, desert, etc.

We are back on the trails again from 1-4 then dive into the left overs from lunch before we send you on your way home...or back to your campsite if you happen to be camping.

Some people choose to help for only a morning or afternoon session and that is great, too! Any and all help is always appreciated!

Ukarydee has been designed to cater to the desires of the horse enthusiast. The campground is designed with three sections (the upper level, the lower level and the front level). Each level is equipped with modern portable toilets, tools for cleaning your campsite area, and strategically located  electric  hook-ups which can be reached from any site with some extra cord. Water spigots are also strategically located.

Ukarydee has 50 spacious campsites. Each campsite provides a place to keep your horses. Fourty of the sites have a 24' metal round pen. The other ten campsites have a 24' x 36' wide tape electric turnout.  All campsites are designed to provide dirve through parking and require little or no backing.

Ukarydee also provides a large outdoor riding arena and a 60' round pen that are usually available for your convenience.

Ukarydee is near the Wisconsin River, Wallers pond, The Roche A Cri, Castle Rock Lake and Lake Petenwell. These wonderful water environments provide hours of enjoyable boating, fishing or swimming. It  is also located along an ATV route that connects to many of the roads in Adams County that are open for ATV activities. However, ATVs are NOT allowed on the horse trails. Ukarydee is about 40 minutes north of the tourist attractions of Wisconsin Dells and Lake Delton. There are also many exceptionally good resturaunts to enjoy a wonderful meal if you are trying to get away from cooking and cleaning up.

Your horses can safely be left in the comfortable setting of your campsite while you and your family spend time enjoying some of these other activities.

Hunters...this is just the place for you, too!  There are 2500 acres available for you to hunt on. Although Ukarydee is designed for the horse enthusiast, it is adjacent to some of the most prime hunting grounds in the state and we are looking forward to providing you with a great place to camp while you are trying to get the big one!

Ukarydee is centrally located in the State of Wisconsin. It is about a mile and a half off from Hwy 21 which is a main East/West highway that crosses the entire state.

...through a little tiny town called Arkdale and about five miles after that to Hwy Z. Go South on Hwy Z to the first intersection (Cumberland). Go West on Cumberland, go through one stop sign and look for the first driveway on the left after the stop sign.

From the Direction of Necedah go East to Hwy Z (about five miles after crossing the Wisconsin river). Go South on Z to the first intersection (Cumberland). Go West on Cumberland through one stop sign and look for the first driveway on the left after the stop sign.

The Address is:     2047 Cumberland Ave
